Weekly Update - Watching/Listening/Reading

Saturday 29 April 2017

This week has definitely been a mad and busy one, work has been nonstop and I've had an essay that I've been trying to motivate myself to finish all week! Therefore this week's weekly update is a limited list.

Watching

The Matchbreaker - An idealistic romantic is fired from his job and stats accepting work from  parents breaking up their children from their partners of who they disapprove of. This is such a sweet film with a good message on how nobody is perfect and love accepts any faults. This is available to watch on Netflix.

Pretty Little Liars - still loving this new series!

Famous in Love - enjoying this new show greatly.

If you want to know more about the two TV shows above check out my previous post.

Listening

With or Without Me - Sainte

Reading

Scarlet by Marissa Meyer - This is the second book in the Lunar Chronicles Series, I read the first book Cinder and loved the different take on fairytale adaption. If the title doesn't give it away this book is an adaption on red riding hood. Scarlet is searching for her missing Grandmother who everyone believes is crazy and just left. She meets up with a street fighter called Wolf, who believes he knows where her Grandmother is being held captive, but can Scarlet trust him or is he more involved than he is saying. This intertwines with the first book Cinder and begins a few hours after that book ended. I'm only a few pages in but the no Ely of the fairytale-esque story is already setting in.

Eating

I'm trying to go back to eating dairy free and have been trying out a few new dairy free snack brands.  One of the brands I tried is not a new brand it is the Nakd brand who do different flavoured all natural snacks. I also tried the dairy free brownies from the Sainsbury's Free From range and some good ole Bourbon biscuits. I was definitely having a sugar craving!
